Visitors arrive to a grand mirrored reception lobby with coffer ceiling adorned in a dramatic 100-light chandelier and staircase ill suited for ski boots or stilettos. Walls depicts Alpine street scenes leading to a series of hallways and corridors that connect spaces like the Miles David jazz bar, as gourmand eatery The K, a top-notch pizzeria and late-night Dracula Club. The Room
Rooms of the Kulm have been variably updated over the past few years with entry-level standard rooms adorned in a Tiffany blue and emerald green color palette with glossy, dark woods and intricate adornment on doorways and ceiling that allude to the hotel’s history. We’d opt for no room smaller than a junior suite, given the details like wood paneling and head-on views of the lake the compliment the larger living area with elaborate carved-stone fireplace. Top-of-the-line suites offer even more space with large marble bathroom, dining area and large terraces more ideal in summer than the depths of winter.
